Nancy Deheimer is from Michigan but has lived in Decatur County since 2009. She is basically a fiber artist but has worked with many materials including  paper clay and metal.  She loves to play with watercolors but her more serious ventures involve dye, wax and fabric. she loves the mess it creates and the often unexpected outcome of batik.  When not using the wax pot, Nancy will cut up various fabrics, mostly hand dyed, and create a collage.
